The PDB CAN Pro is a power distribution board custom-designed for the high-current characteristics of the Pioneer VTOL aircraft. It integrates battery monitoring and flight controller power supply, optimizes the interface layout for easier installation, and utilizes the DroneCAN communication protocol for enhanced interference immunity.
Parameter Configuration – Easy to Use
Recommended for use with ArduPlane 4.4.4, the following parameters should be configured in the Mission Planner after writing to the firmware.
If the PDB module is connected to POWER1 CAN, and connected to the V6 Pro flight controller, configure the following parameters:
CAN_D1_PROTOCOL=1
CAN_PL_DRIVER=1
CAN_P2_DRIVER=1
CAN_MONITOR=8 (use in mission planner)
If the PDB module is connected to POWER2 ADC and connected to the V6 Pro flight controller, configure the following parameters:
BATT2_MONITOR=4 (use in mission planner)
BATT2_VOLT_PIN=13
BATT2_CURR_PIN=4
Note: DroneCAN battery voltage monitoring has been factory calibrated and does not require user calibration.
